RAGHAV DUBEY - India's Youngest Virtual NGO Founder!

Well well these lines are the perfect reflection of what Raghav Dubey's journey is all about.

Raghav Dubey who is now the recognised Youngest Founder Of A Virtual NGO in India, the one who has already made up to the GOOGLE’s list of popular CEOs, and most importantly a very hardworking and dedicated chap one can ever come across. Who knew that a boy who’s just 18, unlike us would leave an amazing mark as one of the best budding entrepreneurs? Who knew that a boy from a small town of Uttar Pradesh could ever come up with such a platform wherein there is help and support for everybody from anybody willing to volunteer, where people can express themselves without any hesitation and where they achieve heights.Well dreams cannot be restricted neither can be stopped from being realised into a reality. This is what we all must learn from the inspiring story of Raghav Dubey who yet has more amazing work to be added in his life story in future!

BUT... “What brought him here?”

Well it was in 10th standard back then when this interest of public speaking, influencing and motivating hit Raghav real hard.While gaining appreciation at whatever places he went to and spoke to people, RD thought of doing something in the same field and hence he applied for being a public speaker at many places/seminars etc. but everytime he had to face rejections, not once or twice but everytime he applied. Therefore one day, out of anxiousness to know the reason behind all the rejections he called them up.The people there answered, “ Why would we call a tenth class pass in public speaking, just because you have this interest we won't put down our reputation,even those people who sit on chai pe charcha have also got the interest of speaking but that doesn't mean we will call them too,does it? Go achieve something big then influence so that not only you but even your introduction is influential.”

This made Raghav think about doing something serious because he didn't want to STOP, but this ‘something’ didn’t have a shape until an idea of website development came across his mind. But what this website would be all about? What along with his classmates he could do in this regard? And that is when he thought of working for the society , collecting problems of various age groups which turned out to be major reason to start it up and therefore the setup begun. Starting from a FACEBOOK ADVERTISEMENT to A YOUTH FORUM , the community grew overtime. While the community was growing phenomenally, one of its members advised to get YIM registered but as we all are quite aware of the ‘System’, the hurdles approached Raghav before success could. He went to various places,offices to know all about it but whatever got into his hands was not registration but hassles.The paperwork people talked about,the funds,the Taxes, and what not was surely something pretty much of a difficult task for a 18 year old to do.

“STOPPPPPP!!”, his mind commanded….  “YES”, cried his tired heart,  “NO” the teachers advised and this is where he got motivation to work more. He added his teachers to the expert panel for solving problems,he divided the load,added more people, multiplied the popularity and subtracted the negativity.This is how he did it all!

To all the readers reading this, RAGHAV DUBEY is now not only a speaker but a CEO, an author,a social activist and a budding entrepreneur. He has got his recognition from Google and also all of his hard work undoubtedly is paying off quite well with the increasing success rates of YIM. Also we cannot forget the moment when his article on virtual NGO got published by the Indian government and YIM got recognition in the same article as India’s budding virtual NGO start-up.

Many did question about its existence, funding, methodology to work etc., so here's the answer for them, “ YOUNG IGNITED MINDS is a virtual NGO - “ jo kaam to karta hai par government records me dikhta nahi hai.”  YIM is only for those who want to work not only for NAME/FAME/MONEY but for work genuinely for the betterment of the society, for the true spirit of an NGO which is somewhere lost in today's world.

YIM's objective is to unite people and serve as family. As the logo itself suggests- “ joining of hands”- which is a sign of empathy, sympathy, professionalism etc.YIM is not only a platform for people to express but also to showcase their talents.YIM has departments which deal with design and technology, content writing, marketing etc., which provide exposure to all those ignited minds in the way they want. Well the list not only ends here! YIM has also been featured in the Government Portal, E-cell of Daulat Ram College (DU) etc.Apart from all the virtual work YIM has done so far ,it also ran successfully in the Cloth Distribution Drive,Mission Shiksha and various contests which were all organised for engagement of the YOUTH power.YIM has been chosen as the youth partner in many of the cultural fests of many renowned colleges which clearly proves the faith of people in YIM.

The family of YIM is growing, nurturing and undoubtedly igniting the minds of the youth and always welcomes new minds to volunteer for the good.
